Your kit turned out great! The vid clip really showcases them quite nicely.
How did the floor tom feet work out?
Are they a bit bouncy when layin' into the FT's?
Did they help the projection or resonance on the FT's?

Heya Hoppy thanks mate. The floor tom feet work awesomely! No they don't bounce around when you're into it, and the springs actually help them from walking about too. Hard surface playing... they stay put!
Definitely help with FT resonance for sure. I did some tests between them and my other floor tom legs that are just normal types. There is a marked increase in resonance for sure.
But if anyone is interested in these drums I am letting them go., as in selling them! Drums and controller for the LED's only, the hardware I am going to keep. Basically a shell pack.
PM me for a price if you're keen, it won't be expensive. Bear in mind I am in Australia so shipping to where you are will have to be factored in.

I hope to find some of the other members on this site.
Rob, man what great work!!!!!!!!!!!! what an ausome kit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,right down to the FT legs.............everything looks so clean.................the lights are ausome as will!
I would trade my DW's for a kit like that anyday................clear acrylic has been a love of mine for many years..................
BTW the band is great, and it sounded wonderful just using a camcorder........................all the best to you!!! and I hope to be around this fourm for a while to come.
Did you sell this kit yet?..................................what kind of money were you looking to get out of them.........................
no work included, how much cash did you have to spend to build the kit and rack ?
peace
BigD

Hey Big D, thanks for that mate! If I had the kit still (sold it) I would trade you a DW any day of the week!! DW's are SO expensive here that only the very wealthy can afford them.
.
The rack was not expensive, although I just modified the Pearl rack I had at the time. I still have the rack proper, but sold off all the clamps and such.
Kit sold for not as much as I would have liked, considering what work went into it. I appreciate drum company prices a lot more now considering what it cost me. I basically broke even, which is kind of good.
